In the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine police unmasked a criminal gang that grew elite hemp varieties and sold them in annexed Crimea.
On the outskirts of one of the villages, police found six greenhouses, the total area of which exceeded five hectares. It turned out that in them members of drug dealers grew elite hemp. The greenhouses had everything they needed: drip irrigation, lighting and heating systems, so the crop was harvested up to three times a year. Detained four people who are involved in the drug business.
Police found about 6,000 cannabis bushes, almost 5 kg of a processed drug, money, firearms, and equipment for growing and processing marijuana were found. The total value of the seized 2, 650 million dollars.
